LOOP offers you an authenticity service in collaboration with Entrupy
This service specializes in authenticating luxury bags and other accessories and is currently available for 22 prestigious brands. Besides the authenticity guarantee, Entrupy backs its proof of authenticity with a 12-month financial guarantee to ensure customer satisfaction and peace of mind. What sets this service apart is Entrupy’s cutting-edge AI technology. It employs unique algorithms and microscopic analysis to verify the authenticity of luxury bags and accessories and provides a near-100% accuracy rate, ensuring that customers receive genuine products.
Selling counterfeit goods is forbidden and can be prosecuted by the authorities. If you want to buy a bag or another product and are not sure of its authenticity, we highly recommend our Entrupy authenticity service. Besides bags, other accessories such as luggage, clutches, wallets on chain, agendas, wallets, phone cases and belts are authenticable. At LOOP, all items that are eligible for authentication carry a specific info button on their article page. The buyer can add that extra option at the checkout.
The process is easy and quick: When the buyer requests an authentication, the seller is asked to send their item to LOOP for physical authentication check. Meanwhile the buyer’s payment is held securely in an escrow account. Once the item is successfully authenticated, it is sent to the buyer with a certificate and a specific number, which allows to look up the certificate online at entrupy.com. The payment is only released after a successful authentication. In case the authenticity cannot be confirmed, the item will be sent back to the seller and the buyer will be refunded their full payment, excluding the service fee. The seller of the not successfully authenticated item will be flagged by LOOP. In case of a repetition LOOP reserves the right to block the seller's account. LOOP authenticates all received items within one business day.
Please note that by Swiss law online shop purchases (a bag or any other item) from private sellers are not eligible for returns. Make sure you ask for an authentication at the time of purchase and not afterwards.

The definition of “vintage”
There is no official definition of vintage in fashion. For some, anything that is a few seasons old is vintage, for others the item must be at least 20 years old.
At LOOP, an item is considered vintage if it is at least 15 years old. When you upload your advert and enter the year of purchase or the era (90s, Y2K, etc.), this is calculated automatically.
